Winter weddings are always unpredictable. Many brides plan a wedding during this time hoping for beautiful snow on the ground and falling from the sky, but more often it's wet, slushy, freezing cold and in some cases, no snow at all! Amanda + Stew were blessed with snow on the ground for their February wedding, and it was quite cold as well.
Amanda had some beautiful locations at home for getting ready and bridal portraits, so we made use of those before we headed off to meet the guys. We set up a "first look" between Amanda + Stew at their photo location, The Bowmanville Museum and then tried to quickly get through photos and keep the bridal party as warm as possible.
The evening church ceremony was followed by their reception at Orono Town Hall, where they had speeches, dances and ice cream cake (which was Amanda's surprise for Stew!)
Thanks for braving the cold with me - I think it was worth it!
