October has to be one of the most popular months to get married (definitely for 2010 and 2011!). Couples in Ontario rush to book their dates and venues so that they can enjoy the beautiful fall colours before winter sets in. The farther north you go, the more stunning and vibrant the trees become and Alicia and Brad picked the perfect setting at Hockley Valley Resort in Orangeville.
It was tons of fun being able to photograph these two and hang out with their wedding party, who I’ve gotten to know over the past year. Alicia and Brad have a quiet chemistry and an intense love for each other and it was a honour to see them get married (finally!)
Thanks again for having me there to capture your day! (and I’m sorry for taking so long with the blog, Alicia!)
Alicia had 2 amazing pairs of shoes – beautiful purple heels, and comfy purple chucks!
What wedding morning isn’t complete without an iPad with the perfect music library?
Alicia’s gorgeous and unique Claddagh engagement ring!
Alicia hand made her crystal bouquet – she also made matching bouquets for her bridesmaids and crystal boutonniers for the guys! Beautiful touch![]()
Brad’s reaction when Alicia entered the tent was beyond words. I was crying behind my camera, I’ll admit.
It was cold on October 1st, so the girls cuddled between photos to keep warm. Troopers, I say!
That’s right, folks. Binary rings! The nerd in me fell in love when I saw them![]()

#58–65: The Biggest Party We’ll Ever Throw « My Life in Binary - [...] As for #65: Get Married!!!, I think it’s safe to say that of everything on my list, nothing will be able to top that one. It was a day full of so much happiness and love, made all the better by the fact that we got to share it with family and friends. It was the biggest, most fantastic party that we will ever throw, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. You can check out more photos from the big day over at Heather Windsor Photography. Wes - 2 thumbs up Heather. If I had more I would give more….
Heather Windsor - @Mihkel – It is Jon
He was the best man in the wedding – that’s how we met each other
Melissa – The bouquet isn’t flowers at all – it’s crystals on wire! The bride made them herself.
MelissaB - Beautiful colours! One thing that is so neat and different that I have never seen before is…….the flowers! What kind are they? They are gorgeous!
Mihkel F - Heather, these images look wonderful. Great compositions and excellent moments.
I think one of the groomsmen looks like Jon R., is it really him?
Alicia - Thank you so much, Heather! We had such a fantastic day and so much fun working with you. You really captured the whole day perfectly… The photos are SO beautiful, it’s impossible to choose a favourite!
