Jaclyn and Dave’s wedding was a lot of fun for me, for many different reasons.
First off - Jaclyn and I have known each other since we were about 7 years old and in Grade Two. We went to the same public school together and then high school, and I could practically see her house from my window. We also went to the same college, but we never saw each other due to being in different programs. I’ve known Jaclyn for a LONG time, but we’d lost touch since high school and until Facebook came around, I really didn’t have any idea what was going on in her life.
One day last year, I happened to get a phone call from her. She mentioned that she had seen my advertisement in a local bridal magazine and she wasn’t sure if it was “the Heather Windsor” she went to school with or not, but when she found out it was, she wanted to meet with me. It was great to play catch up and meet Dave, her fiance, who dabbles in photography himself.
I wasn’t sure how many people from school would be at the wedding, but I did know that Courtney, whom I also grew up with would be her maid of honour! This wedding was definitely a blast from the past. There were a few more people from school there, which made it a bit surreal for me at times, but I think I have a hard time realizing I’m almost 30 now!
The wedding was held at Kedron Dells Golf Club in Oshawa in September 2009. It was a gorgeous day, just warm enough, no rain, beautiful light…couldn’t have asked for better! The bridal party was a blast and there was no shortage of laughter during the day.
Thank you to Jaclyn and Dave for their wonderful personalities and making my job so much fun! You two were amazing to work with and your friends and families were nothing but fabulous!
Enjoy some photos! Comments always welcome.
