Anne + Jay | Engagement | University of Toronto

Anne and Jay really brought the game up a few notches for this shoot. They are both pretty casual, laid-back people. Anne grew up on a farm, so I knew that she was very outdoorsy and I’ve known Jay since Grade 2 (we went to public and part of high school together).

Imagine my surprise when they walked up in absolutely gorgeous outfits! Anne wore a stunning pea coat, blue dress with new heels and Jay had on a handsome suit. They went out and bought the clothes for the shoot! Not to mention Anne had her hair done before the shoot and she looked just stunning!

They decided to shoot at the University of Toronto which proved to be the perfect backdrop for the look. U of T offers a lot of variety for locations, but some of my favourites are locked up on weekends, so we improvised!

This year I’ve had a few couples dress up a bit for shoots, usually opting to do an outfit change into casual clothing too (which I recommend as something different).  But this took the cake! I can’t thank Anne and Jay enough for it…I loved it! Looking forward to the wedding next October!

Enjoy the images and comments always welcome:)
