I started my photography business in 2004, and have shot more than 300 weddings, locally and internationally. I originally graduated college for Graphic Design, but after a few years in the field and the birth of my son, I gravitated towards my camera and capturing stories about life. Business has continued to grow as the years have passed and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else!
I’m honoured to have had my wedding work published in various local and national publications (including WedLuxe and Weddingbells), and I have also had my boudoir work published in East of the City. In 2013, Weddingbells Magazine named me one of “Canada’s 25 Most Inspiring Photographers”, which was, and still is, a huge honour.
I very much enjoy teaching and mentoring and I am currently a professor at Durham College in the Photography program. I also still enjoy guest lecturing at Seneca College as well as other other photography group settings.
My style is best described as natural, fresh and elegant/romantic. I provide a combination of creative portraiture and photojournalism to give my clients stunning images that will never go out of style.
With many years of experience in the wedding field, I’m able to provide my clients with as much or as little direction as they need to ensure they are comfortable in front of the camera! Weddings should be fun and stress-free and I’m happily by your side through the process – whether as your photographer, planner, advocate, bouquet holder, dress fixer, listening ear or maybe just to organize your family chaos…I’ve done it all!
